After years of development and testing, Flatout has released a new copper head gasket with a coating technology called "RCC" or Rubber Coated Copper. In the past, many different types of auxiliary sealers and RTV's have been used unsuccessfully in an attempt to seal coolant and oil passages on copper head gaskets. "You just remove our copper head gaskets with "RCC" from the package and install them on the engine" said Mark Adelizzi of Flatout Race Gaskets. "After extensive research, we've found a way to chemically bond a rubber coating to copper.
